Who We Are

The GMHBA Professional Women in Building is a select group of inspiring women who share strategies and solutions to promote, enhance, and support professional women in today's home building industry. From builders and remodelers to bankers, designers, and trade professionals, PWB members represent the full spectrum of the building industry in the River Region of Alabama. We meet monthly, serve our community, and support each other in building successful careers and businesses.

Learn from your peers and build meaningful professional relationships as a woman in the building industry. Our local council meets monthly at Montgomery Country Club. National PWB meetings are held three times per year bringing together women from across the country to discuss key industry issues, professional development, and business management.

Education and Leadership

Professional Women in Building offers leadership training at all NAHB meetings covering topics including leadership skills, communication, time management, and public speaking so you can grow your career with confidence.

Community Service

PWB members give back to the River Region through participation in meaningful projects throughout the year including Camp Smile a Mile, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and Kate's Closet.

Subcommittees

Serve on one of the many subcommittees within the Women's Council to deepen your involvement, expand your network, and become an even more active voice in the Home Builders Association.
