Welcome to the Greater Montgomery Home Building and Remodeling Expo website...

The Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association (GMHBA) will host a Home Building and Remodeling Expo April 23-25, 2010 at the Montgomery Convention Center located in downtown Montgomery and we’d like to invite you to get in on the action.

The Greater Montgomery Home Building and Remodeling Expo has become one of Central Alabama’s largest home shows and attracts exhibitors from around the southeast. Participants in the Expo include (but are not limited to) professions such as builders and remodelers, pool and spa contractors, home theater dealers, door and window manufacturers, decorators, mortgage companies, sun room installers, decorative concrete installers plus many, many more. Anyone needing new ideas for their home, or those who would like to see the new products and services these companies are offering should not miss this years Expo.

Green building has become a popular concept in new home construction and remodeling over the last few years, and with this in mind, the GMHBA has integrated this theme into our 2010 show. Expo visitors who would like to find out more information will have the opportunity to sit and talk one on one with these “green” vendors to discover ways they can incorporate these concepts into their building projects.

The GMHBA is also planning to offer a wide variety of informative seminars throughout the three days of our Home Building and Remodeling Expo. Past seminar topics have included all of the following: decorating,ways to improve your credit rating, personal planning and budgeting, consumer awareness about energy efficient building, and ways to remodel a home for aging adults. We are always open to suggestions, so if there is a seminar topic that you’d like to request please email your idea to angela@gmhba.org.
